IFIELD WATERMILL MILL WILL BE OPEN FOR HERITAGE DAY, SUNDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER FROM 12.00PM TIL 5.00 PM.

During the day we hope to have some additional exhibits, and intend to power our outside belt wheel with a stationary engine, and also have on display a rare Crawley tractor. We expect to have our large waterwheel turning, and also give the chance to younger or older visitors to try grinding corn using a rotary quern. There are displays of mill machinery, details of some local mills and information on the iron industry.
