Community
Crawley Museum works with members of the local community to ensure that the museum reflects and enhances the experiences of all.
We work with community groups and organisations to create events and exhibitions, either in the Museum building or in community venues in Crawley.
We offer a range of reminiscence boxes that help promote conversations around memories. The themes of our current boxes are ‘Schooldays’ and ‘House and Home’.
We are expanding this offer from Autumn.
Local groups can hire these boxes at £10 per week If you prefer, one of the members of the Museum team can facilitate a reminiscence session at your chosen venue. The cost for this is usually approx £30 plus travel expenses, depending on the group and the session required.
