Description

By The Miltonian Guild and the Milton Mount Foundation

Founded on a hill outside the village of Milton in Gravesend in 1871, Milton Mount College – a boarding school for the daughters of Congregational Church ministers – moved to Worth Park on the outskirts of Crawley in 1920, and remained there till it closed in 1960 and demolished in 1968.

The school lives on in the hearts and minds of its former pupils, many of whom are still in touch.

Much detail and photographs about the house, the grounds and the school.

This is their book, as told by them.

152 pages. 100 photographs, drawings and maps
