I put on quite a few gigs between 2010 – 2015 in Crawley. I did a hip hop night at The Hoppers, and put on various band nights, punk, alternative and rock at the Snooty Fox, Black Dog, the Railway, the Imperial and anywhere else that would have me.

I also have had my own bands over the years Dannydangerously & The Avengers, The Age of Tapes, The Appartments, Wolves at the Door, The Force and The Dannydangerously band. The late Carl Brooks used to organise a lot of charity gigs as well at The WingSpan club in the noughties. There’s been loads of cool bands and singers come through the scene. It’s been quieter in the last few years in Crawley with less venues taking a risk with alternative music. New Town Karma, Sussex music festival and myself have put on a few gigs at the Apple Tree over the last couple of years. Obviously nothing’s happened this year, although Horsham Battle of the Bands still went ahead and me and my mate Jules won the covers heat with our duo THE FAT WHITE DUKES.

There was a double page spread on Crawley Oxjam in the Crawley Observer back in 2007/8 .
