Alice in Wonderland display, sign post, book, cup and bottle with drink me label. Join us at the Crawley Museum this summer holidays for some totally crazy family fun!

Travel down the rabbit hole and discover Crawley’s link to one of the most famous children’s stories of all time, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’.

Grab a pencil and colour trail sheet and see if you can find all the miniature Alice in Wonderland books and tiny objects hidden around the galleries.

Be inspired by the ‘Drink Me’ transformation potion and create your own magical, swirling potion bottle to take home.

Create a playing card soldier magnet for your fridge and design a fantasy flower to add to our garden arch.

Challenge your friends and family to a game of flamingo croquet.

Entry to the museum is free. Suggested donation £3/person.

Wonderland ticket £4/child (includes all activities. Accompanying adults are free)

Tuesday 23rd July Graham Crozier- ‘Mark Lemon, Father of Victorian Crawley’.

Join Graham Crozier, to learn about ‘Mark Lemon, Father of Victorian Crawley’. Mark Lemon was the father of Alice Lemon, who is thought to have been the inspiration being the Alice illustrations.

Please arrive for the talk at 1:45 for 2pm start.
